BlogRoll Update?! Thursday Run. Picture from the Past.

I like to keep this site up to date. One of the ways that I stay on top of things is through my blog roll.

Do you want me to put your site on my blog roll?!

Tell me that you want on and why you should be on the blog roll?

Let us know why need to be on there.

Today, I ran my Thursday 2 mile and more. I ended out with what turned out to be an easy 2.8 mile run. The runs continue to feel good. I'm trying to hit it really hard this week as it is the last week of the weight loss challenge. It's going pretty well - I still feel like I could be doing more. I think it's just me wanted to do more than I should. It's hard to put on the brakes sometimes, but I've had too.

I thought I'd end this post with a picture from the past!

I look so unhappy there.

You do look unhappy there. Glad you are happier now.

I would love to be on your blog roll because I respect you and what you have to say, and would love to be linked to your greatness, but I NEED to be on your blog roll because I need to be accountable to as many people as possible besides myself, so that I have someone to face while I am learning to make my own opinion of me the most important thing.

I can't be the only one who thinks it's funny to have a Salisbury Steak Festival and also have a 5k run as part of it. :D

Nope, you didn't look very jolly at all. Your new you is much happier looking.

I'm not even kidding ... my word verification is chewable. That alone should get me on your blogroll I think. :D

Hey, I'm not on your Blog Roll. I know I'm not a fitness freak .... just saying, not that I think you're a freak.

I think it would be good for there to be a connection to my scribblings of an ancient endeavouring weight loss/health/fitness. OK my Blog is as much about my life in general but I still think you all can be encouraged and inspired by me, just as I am by all the Blogs I read.

Blogroll - me - maybe? I've been actively reading your blog lately because I want to learn how to run and am (slowly) training myself to run a 5K that I foolishly registered for at the end of June - just thinking about it makes me sweat - which is good because sweating causes weight loss and I could use that :)

You did not look happy at all I prefer the new pictures of you. I would love to be on your blog roll in order to have more people to be accountable. And what is better then being on someones blog roll that you respect?

Congrats on the run! :)

Personally, I think your blogroll should be blogs that you like, not because someone makes a case for them being on your blogroll.

Your blog is MUCH more popular than mine and I'm just now starting to get requests to have blogs added to mine. I think I'm struggling with what to do about it. I mean, I think that my blogroll should be just that - the blogs that *I* like, read, and subscribe to not ones that people are begging to be a part of.

Then again, I would love it if many people added mine to their blogroll because I love readers and comments just like everyone else.

So I can see both sides.

I'm interested to know how or why you decide who to put on yours...because I want to be fair to my readers and myself. Is the answer two different blog rolls - one that I recommend and one that others ask to be on?

I'm torn.

And by Fitcetera's standards, I should totally be added to yours because my word verification is CHETO. I'm not even kidding. :)

WOOHOO! On your run!

Good job on that run! Yeah, you do look a little depressed in that photo. I'm sure you take "happy face" photos now.

I've never asked to be on anyone's blog roll. I figure if they want to list me they will. If they don't, they won't. Same as I do.

UGH we both look so miserable in our old pictures. How did that happen to us?

But now look at you Seth!

That's the important part of this story!

P.S. I know I said it before but your first now picture is SMOKIN HAWT!

Like Margie, I've never asked to be on a blog roll. If you deem me to be worthy of the roll, go ahead and add away ... but if I actually had to ask to be on I would feel like I was only there out of pity so I'm officially hereby NOT asking to be rolled but I do give you permission to pimp my blog out to your other readers if you want to :)

Congrats on your run. It is cool to see that you are happier now. You deserve to be happy. Have a nice weekend!

I want to be on your blogroll because I am following advice that you once wrote on my blog--be active each day and take it one day at a time (I am paraphrasing and stealing the title of a sitcome).

Great run! I am back to running myself. I am hoping to run 5Ks this summer and see how fast I've become since last year.

Seth, you've come a long way. Congratulations! :)

I'd love to be on your blog roll. Why? We have a lot in common. I love running, healthy eating is my thing and I have lots of fun doing it. I even video my boring workouts and post them on my blog so others know YOU CAN GO TO THE GYM and not feel insecure no matter your size.

Have a great day!

You do look a lot more happy in your current pics...very handsome too. :)
The way I do my blogroll is I add every weightloss blog I follow b/c here's my take on things: My blog might not be what someone needs, but there may be a blog I follow that someone else could relate with. Who am I to deprive them? Every blogger has something important to say and if I can help get their words out there, then I feel honored in helping them do that. I visit more blogs that have very few followers than I do the real popular ones. I do have a few favorites like Chris's, Fit's, and Tricia's, Jack's and TJ's, but I tend to cling to the underdogs. I find some of the most profound knowledge from those bloggers b/c they are still in the stages of talking to themselves which means they have no stage fright and they tend to be more raw. I love it. So, if you think I have something important to say that any of your readers may benefit from, blogroll me...if not, I'm cool. I'm in it for me and if it touches someone along the way...then it's a bonus. :)
